North West Acquires Additional Leica Airborne Sensors
North West Geomatics Ltd. today announced that to meet increased capacity demands it has purchased the first worldwide Leica ADS40-II digital sensor with the unique SH52 sensor head and a Leica ALS50-II LiDAR sensor. To compliment these additional sensors, North West has also acquired an additional Cessna Conquest-II aircraft Both sensors are currently in use on North West?s 2007 imagery acquisition programs and LiDAR DEM for Alberta and NE British Columbia.

North West Finalizes Western Canadian LiDAR DEM Program
North West Geomatics Ltd. today announced that it has completed all planning and logistic requirements for its previously announced western Canadian LiDAR acquisition program. The control work, being undertaken by Point Geomatics of Calgary, has commenced and the acquisition program will commence immediately once snow cover has left the region, expected to be April 1 in some areas.

North West Announces Multi-Year Digital Imagery Contract in Ontario
North West Geomatics Ltd. today announced that it has been awarded a 5 year digital imagery contract for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR). The contract term is 2006 through 2010 with a maximum contract value of $25M. The contract is to collect the base imagery for a detailed forest inventory covering approximately 500,000 square km in central and northern Ontario. This program follows the Ontario government?s announcement in October of 2005 of revitalizing the forest inventory data base in the province.

North West Announces Plans for a New Alberta Digital Elevation Model
North West Geomatics Ltd. today announced its detailed plans to create a new digital elevation model (DEM) for the province of Alberta. Commencing in the spring of 2007, North West will utilize the latest Lidar and airborne, dual frequency synthetic aperture radar technologies to accomplish this substantial task.

North West Group Completes Pilot Projects with Leica ADS40 Generation II
North West Geomatics Ltd. today announced that it has successfully completed 3 forestry projects in the northern USA and Canada with the new Leica ADS40 Generation II sensor system. These areas total approximately 12,000 sq/km and were flown in July/August of 2006. The purpose of the data collection was for detailed forest inventory programs in these regions using proprietary, semi-automated individual tree crown process.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, North West Geomatics Ltd. is dedicated to providing high- quality aerial data acquisition services and related geospatial data content for use by mapping firms, online mapping resources, government agencies and other organizations. To capture data, the company employs a fleet of aircraft, each generating between 150GB and 500GB of data in a typical flight day. North West\'s data center currently houses more than 120TB of information on disk.

North West Purchases Second ADS40 Airborne Digital Sensor
North West Geomatics of Calgary announced today that it has purchased its second Leica ADS40. ?We have been very pleased with the performance and market acceptance of this technology and as a result of the market demand for the ADS40 data, we have concluded the purchase of a second system from Leica?, stated North West?s President, Fred Welter.

North West Acquires Pixxures Canada Inc.
Calgary-based North West Geomatics announced today that it has acquired 100% of the outstanding shares of Pixxures Canada, a leading provider of aerial phtotography for Alberta and the continental US. Pixxures Canada was a wholly owned subsidiary of Pixxures, Inc of Arvada, Colorado.

North West Acquires Terramatics Systems Inc.
North West Geomatics of Calgary announced today that it has acquired all of the outstanding shares of Terramatics Systems Inc. (TSI) of Calgary, Alberta. TSI is a privately held development company involved in the development and manufacture of high accuracy integrated GPS/Inertial systems for air, land and sea applications.

North West Purchases First Airborne Digital Sensor
North West Geomatics of Calgary announced today that it has entered into a purchase agreement with Leica Geosystems of Atlanta, GA for the acquisition of Leica?s new ADS40, Airborne Digital Sensor.
